COLOUR COAT SYSTEM: ENHANCING NOVANO’S NATURAL BEAUTY
Novano’s advanced surface treatment system is engineered to highlight the material’s natural wood-like appearance while providing long-lasting protection. Developed specifically for Novano’s composite materials, it combines deep colour saturation with industry-grade durability to ensure a premium finish in both residential and commercial settings.
This two-part system is designed to resist UV fading, surface wear, and environmental exposure, while maintaining the warmth and texture that define Novano profiles. This system offers a refined aesthetic with minimal upkeep, making it the ideal solution where design meets performance.
SIDING: NOVANO’S COLOUR COAT PROCESS & ITS BENEFITS
Novano’s colour coat process is built around a carefully calibrated two-stage process developed specifically for siding. Starting from the natural base colour of the untreated material, this system combines a deeply penetrating RTS (Ready-to-use Stain) with a high-performance Top Coat, designed to enhance durability, improve weather resistance, and preserve the material’s natural aesthetic over time.
The result? A visually refined, low-maintenance finish that preserves the natural beauty of Novano while delivering lasting protection against environmental stress. It ensures consistent colour uniformity, surface integrity, and reliable performance across even the most demanding exterior conditions.
STAGE 1: RTS (READY-TO-USE STAIN)
RTS (Ready-To-Use Stain) is a premium water-based stain formulated with high-stability UV pigments that resist fading, even under intense sunlight. Specifically developed for Novano’s composite surfaces, RTS penetrates and bonds at a molecular level, ensuring uniform colouration and optimal adhesion ahead of sealing.

Water Resistance
Provides excellent sealing against moisture ingress, reducing the formation of white spots caused by long-term exposure to humidity.

STAGE 2: TOP COAT
Once fully cured, the Top Coat is applied. The Top Coat is a high-performance, two-component clear coat that chemically hardens into a robust protective layer, which stabilises the surface and prepares it for long-term exposure in exterior environments.
